Our team introduction begins today with Katharina. She has been actively supporting us as Product & Sales Manager since April 2019.
Hello Katharina, it's nice that you took the time for a short interview so that our customers can get to know the OGNX team better. Tell us briefly in a few sentences who you are and what you do at OGNX:
"Of course I'm happy. My name is Katharina, I'm 29 years old and I've been working in my role as product manager at OGNX for a year now. From collection development to production coordination, shop maintenance and delivery, I also look after our dealers. I'm a full-time employee My colleague Jenny had my back during the daily madness and that's why I was nicknamed "Crisis Manager" in the team. I love challenges and for me there is no fire that can't be put out. At least at work."
What did you do before joining OGNX?
" After studying international, luxury and fashion management, I first worked in purchasing for a shoe retailer and then in a PR agency with a focus on high fashion. The products that we marketed were all very beautiful and elaborately crafted, but personally I just never really felt comfortable in this sector. For me, the future clearly lies in the area of athleisure and I don't just say that because I like to do sports myself. It's super exciting to see how much is happening here in the area of innovative materials does and how society is changing. A sporty and conscious lifestyle is becoming more and more important for many. I think it's nice to be able to build on this trend with my work at OGNX and to support customers in their pursuit of a healthier and, above all, more conscious lifestyle to provide the right products."
What do you enjoy most about work?
" As I said above, I am the crisis manager in our team. What I like most is solving problems. That's where you can see what you have achieved. But I also really enjoy communicating with our producers. It's just great when you is involved in the development process of a product from the beginning and after a long order processing, you finally have a great product in your hand that you know was definitely worth the effort. A product that you enjoy wearing yourself and that you don't "It just looks good, it also feels great. I also love our team. We're always in a good mood and there's never any fuss. I'm allergic to that."
What goal would you like to achieve this year?
"As we are constantly developing our products, we have many small milestones that can change often and at short notice. However, for the coming year I have decided to push forward the communication of our great materials and make them even more transparent for the customer."
What sport do you enjoy most and what do you wear while doing it?
"I like to go running four times a week. Of course I wear our OGNX products. After all, I have to test them before we put them on sale. My favorites include the Function Leggings Colourblocked or the Leggings Rainbow Stripe , the mesh tank and the silver windbreaker . With this I can be seen well on my morning runs before sunrise. Although I prefer our functional goods when doing sports, I love our cotton leggings more than anything and also like to wear them in my free time. Especially these Thanks to the increased elastane content, goods from the spring/summer collection simply fit perfectly and cut a great figure. "
How would you describe your clothing style?
"I like to dress discreetly, pay attention to high quality materials and a good, timeless cut. I like to combine eye-catching shoes with my rather simple trousers and tops. In my opinion, great shoes give an outfit the finishing touch and are therefore definitely not allowed be ignored."
