Our team introduction goes into another round with Marisa. She has been supporting us since December 2019 and, as Marketing Manager, ensures that we at OGNX offer you a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience from the first meeting to the delivery of your new, favorite sustainable outfit.
Hello Marisa, nice that you took the time for a short interview so that our customers can get to know the OGNX team better. Tell us briefly in a few sentences who you are and what you do at OGNX :
" Gladly. I have been working in marketing at OGNX since December last year and the first six months have already flown by. My daily work includes maintaining our social media platforms, creating and sending our newsletters as well as planning and implementing sales campaigns such as the Easter sale that took place a few days ago. I also manage the ambassador program, our external partnerships and create the content on the site. This ranges from blog posts to product descriptions. I enjoy the job so much because it is so incredibly versatile. I can live out my creative side, but also get exciting, analytical insights into the daily ordering processes and how the online shop works. “
What did you do before joining OGNX?
“ In March 2019 I graduated from university with a degree in fashion management. During my studies, I dealt intensively with the topic of slow and fair fashion and soon realized that I could no longer reconcile working in a fast fashion company with my conscience. With the desire to make a positive contribution to improving working conditions in the fashion industry, I traveled to India after completing my studies to help out as a volunteer in the sewing department of a women's rights NGO. Working in India not only made me discover my love for yoga, but also once again strengthened my desire for a career. Starting at OGNX has fulfilled my wish and I am particularly pleased that I can now combine my love for fair fashion with my hobbies of yoga and sport. “
What do you enjoy most about work?
“ I have a lot to do every day and it never gets boring. I am allowed to implement creative ideas independently and I was given a lot of responsibility from day one. The interaction of the various activities and the constant challenge of developing new campaigns make marketing particularly interesting and exciting for me. I immediately felt at home in our small team and Katha is always fun in the office. Of course, the most important thing is that I am convinced of the quality of the products I promote and share the company's mission 100%. “
What goal would you like to achieve this year?
“ We are currently working on implementing a new shop template. The “new” shop should not only impress with a modern look, but I also want to ensure that all functions work perfectly. In this context, improving the mobile shopping experience and structuring and filling the “Among Us” subpage are among my next major projects.”
What sport do you enjoy most and what do you wear while doing it?
" I'm very interested in general sports and adapt my training to my personal mood, time and the weather. On nice days I like to go jogging, but I also regularly attend classes at the fitness or yoga studio. I prefer to wear the OGNX functional clothing. The pants are super light and thin without being see-through. No matter whether it’s a print or a simple design, the trousers always cut a great figure and can be easily combined.”
